Summer's here!!

Are you tired of summer yet??  Bored? Nothing to do??  You're all welcome to come to the library - it's air conditioned!!  AHHHHHHH........  We also now have wireless access, so if you have a laptop with wireless capability come on down.

I've been looking at things for our "Just 4 U" group to do this summer - if you have anything specific you'd like us to try, respond to the blog.  We have lots of room left on our sign up sheets - call your friends, meet once a week at Lee-Whedon this summer.  We'll have a group meeting every Wednesday afternoon, from 2 - 3 pm, starting       July 11 - hope you can make it.  Give us a call or send an e-mail.

Learning more everyday - are you??

The past couple days I've been learning more about blogs, flickr, widgets and avatars.  I'm hoping to show everyone this summer how to make their own magazine cover - it's a cool thing to do in Flickr.  I need some help developing poll questions that we can put on our blog too - you've probably seen these polls on sites you go to, or maybe you already have them on your myspace.  Anyway - I'm looking forward to summer and seeing you all again, bring your friends!!

It's been soooooooo long

I can't believe I haven't posted since MARCH!!!  What's up with that?  I know you all have been busy, I guess I have been too.  I wanted to wish everyone Good Luck this weekend for the band at the Batavia Pageant.  Also - everyone who's going on class trips - have fun, be safe, take pictures!  I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's adventures when you get back.   If you're not going with the band or on a class trip - stop by the library, I'll probably be around.  I need some help choosing the prize CD's for the winners of the survey contest - HELP!!!

By the way, spread the word about meeting at the library over the summer - we'll be meeting on Wednesdays from 2 - 3 p.m. starting July 11.  Since there will still be softball the last week of June and then there's 4th of July, we won't get together 'til July 11 unless I hear from a LOT of people begging me to start earlier....

My Grandma's going to kill me!

We're working on another mystery play - this time we'll perform for Oak Orchard School students during spring break.  So.....if you have younger siblings, cousins or friends have them sign up at the library to solve the mystery.  It's on Wednesday, April 11 at 11 A.M.   Pictures to be posted soon.

We've been working on the next mystery play on Wednesdays from 3 - 4 p.m.  Look at the photo album to see recent pictures - we won't tell you who did it.  If you have brothers or sisters at Oak Orchard School have them sign up to come - Wednesday, April 11 at 11 a.m.

Movie Night

Wise Wonders  is hosting a movie night on Wednesday February 21,2007. The movie is 86 minutes long. This is for grades K-5 only. Attention ALL WISE WONDER group we will need help with popcorn and water!!!!! This is at seven o' clock. If you are coming to help you have to be HERE AT 6:30 here at the library.
